About

The point of this foray into the blogosphere is to give a better understanding of the Army to people that have little or no direct knowledge. I’m trying hard to translate from the jargon to plain English.

Comments are especially welcome. They feed my vanity. I have no hard and fast rules on what may or may not be said in comments. You are free to disagree, but please try to be polite, if not respectful. If, in my sole judgment, your comment is over the line, I may edit or delete your comment. I will not do this to crush your right to dissent, but to maintain an atmosphere where discussion does not become mere rancor.

oops, didn’t notice this, so I sent from hotmail. One thing you do need is a “print” and “email to” button

  6. Shadow, there are technical limitations that don’t allow me to put a “print” or “email” button on the site. The two big issues are, you get what you pay for, and I don’t have to pay to blog here and second, I have no internet skills.

  11. Not sure where I found a link to you blog, but glad that I did.

Former US Army Combat Medic (91B, back in my day), with a little brother just months away from retirement (unless he makes the E-8 list this year, in which case he says he’ll stay on an additional 3 years).

Work for a Defense Contractor now here in Austin (Tactical Command and Control systems), and love reading discussing all-things Army.
